Women, Stop Complaining!

Women are always complaining that they continually catch their husbands looking at other women and most of them regularly accuse their partners of having an affair. As I am the type of woman husbands normally look at, I can only imagine how they must feel, but I can't help wondering why they don't make more of an effort with their own appearance instead of worrying about their partner being a potential playboy.

I mean, let's face it, if you see your husband off in the morning wearing a green face pack, curlers in your hair and an outfit that looks like it comes from the local charity shop, this is the image of you he will have in his mind when he arrives at the office and I can guarantee that his sweet young secretary will look even more tempting with her pouting red lips and bouncing blonde locks. He's eyes will pop out of his head when she bends down to retrieve a pile of files, exposing perfect legs and a hint of lace and you can't really blame the man.

An old joke comes to mind "How do you turn a fox into an elephant?" and the answer is: "You marry it!". Unfortunately most women seem to think that they can afford to let themselves go as soon as they have a ring on their finger, but this is never a good idea. A well-groomed appearance is essential, even if you've been married for 20 years. Looks aren't everything, but you'll be treated with more respect by everyone - including your husband - if you are pretty and neat. I know it's not easy with kids, housework and all the other pressures of modern life, but a bit of make-up, a snazzy, low maintenance haircut and a few new outfits can make a big difference.

Once you've treated yourself to a make-over (using your husband's credit card of course!), be sure to invest in some sexy underwear and use your holey old cotton pants to clean the windows. Lingerie will make you feel fantastic from the inside out and I guarantee it'll put a spring in your step. I haven't worn anything else for years and feel sexy even if I'm casually dressed in jeans and a T-shirt. Primark and Matalan have a large selection of underwear sets under £10 so there's really no excuse!

When your husband comes home from the office, give him a mini fashion show and let him see what an effort you've made. Then don't even wait for him to make a move, simply grab him by the collar and drag him into the bedroom or onto the patio or anywhere else you fancy. Forget your inhibitions, leave the lights on and let yourself go!
